Launch of Tornado Wire Pro-Strain i-Post

Tornado Wire, a market leader in fencing, proudly announces the release of its latest innovation – the Pro-Strain i-Post, an intermediate steel post, designed to complement the Pro-Strain straining system.

The Pro-Strain i-Post embodies a “Field to Factory to Field” approach, utilising a plastic component made from recycled agricultural packaging. This creates a circular product lifecycle, allowing materials to transition from farms into the product and back onto agricultural land. At the end of its life, the i-Post can be recycled again.

Some of the key features are:

Durability: The post features a steel profile with a recycled plastic insert, allowing it to be easily stapled into place with a staple gun or by hand. Its pointed end facilitates driving it into the ground

Versatility: Without the need for clips, the i-Post can accommodate any line wire configuration, giving you the freedom to align the net as desired

Ease of Installation: Designed for a quick and straightforward installation process

Variety of Lengths: Available in three lengths: 1.8m, 2.1m, and 3m (approximately 6 ft, 7 ft, and 10 ft).

The i-Post will be officially launched at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh, taking place from 19-22 June 2025.

Prototypes of the i-Post were demonstrated by experienced and respected fencing contractors, at the AFI Best Practice Event at Harper Adams University on 30th April. Duncan Samson, a fencing contractor, stated, “I think this is a very good product, and I would like to get some more of it, out on the fence line. You can just staple onto it, and there’s no clips to catch when you’re pulling up the netting.”

Tornado look forward to seeing you at the Royal Highland Show to showcase the new Pro-Strain i-Post and discuss how it can benefit your fencing needs.
