CJT Timber Sourcing Share Accreditation News

CJT Timber Sourcing LTD are Proud to share a big milestone šŸŒ²

We’re now officially a WPA Approved Treater, using UK BPR-authorised TANALITH E preservative across our timber treatment range.

Managing Director Ben Parton Commented:

“For us, this isn’t just a badge, it’s about doing things properly. Every piece of treated timber leaving our yard meets strict UK BPR legal and environmental standards, giving our customers total confidence in product safety, durability, and traceability.

When choosing a ā€œWPA Approved Treaterā€, it’s worth checking how that approval is achieved. ISO 9001 plays a key role in ensuring consistency and accountability across our processes, as it provides the framework that keeps our quality standards transparent and independently verified. While not every treatment provider & manufacturer chooses to operate under this accreditation, we believe having a management system that is as high quality as our products is important.

We only use TANALITH E, one of the most advanced wood preservatives available, delivering long-term protection against decay and insect attack while maintaining the timber’s natural look.

We’re proud to set high standards, and even prouder to give our customers the reassurance that when you buy treated timber from CJT, you’re getting fully compliant, responsibly sourced, and legally protected timber, the way it should be.

Always Remember ā€˜Not All Green Treatment Is The Same’”

Ready to Burn

āœ… Another important milestone for us at CJT Timber Sourcing

Managing Director Ben Parton Commented:

“I’m proud to share that we continue to strengthen our commitment to quality and responsibility through the Ready To Burn Accreditation.

Why does this matter?

The Ready to Burn scheme ensures that wood and manufactured solid fuels meet strict standards for cleanliness, dryness, and safety. For our customers, that means better performance and greater efficiency. For our communities, it means significantly reduced pollution and easier compliance with increasingly important air-quality regulations.

At CJT Timber Sourcing, we believe that responsible sourcing doesn’t stop at the forest, it extends all the way to how our products are used in homes and businesses across the UK. Supporting Ready to Burn is one more way we’re ensuring cleaner air, higher-quality fuel, and a more sustainable future for everyone.

Proud of the team and the continued progress we’re making.”
