Contracts Manager
Perimeter Solutions is a specialist provider of commercial and high-security fencing systems. We deliver projects across a range of sectors including education, industrial facilities, infrastructure, and high-security environments. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple fencing installation projects across the South East.
The Role
The Contract Manager will take responsibility for delivering commercial fencing and perimeter security projects from contract award through to completion. You will be managing projects delivered for Principal Contractors on construction sites, as well as end users, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination between clients, site teams, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial fencing and perimeter security projects simultaneously
- Act as the primary point of contact for Principal Contractors and clients
- Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors across sites
- Ensure works comply with health & safety regulations and site requirements
- Monitor project progress, costs, and programme deadlines
- Conduct site visits and oversee quality of installation
- Manage variations, valuations, and commercial aspects of projects
- Support tender handover and project planning stages
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience managing commercial fencing or construction subcontractor projects
- Experience working with Principal Contractors on live construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction site health & safety requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence
- SMSTS / SSSTS qualification
Highly Desirable
- Experience delivering projects within data centres or utilities infrastructure
- Knowledge of high-security fencing systems

- Salary range £50,000 – £60,000
- Proven extensive Data centre / utilities experience £60,000 – £75,000

Estimator
Perimeter Solutions are an established commercial fencing contractor delivering high-quality security fencing solutions across the Education, Industrial and High Security sectors. Our projects range from large-scale school developments to new build industrial estates and high-security installations such as data centres and utilities.
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in construction-related fencing (not domestic/residential) to join our team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders for projects within:
- Education sector (schools, academies, universities)
- Industrial sector
- Security-sensitive environments
You will be pricing works for both principal contractors and direct end-user clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications
- Preparing detailed take-offs utilising Bluebeam software
- Producing competitive and profitable tenders
- Developing relationships with our clients – both existing and new
- Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
- Managing multiple tenders simultaneously to meet deadlines
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction
- Specific experience in construction fencing (Palisade, Mesh, Acoustic fencing systems, etc.)
- Experience pricing projects in Education, Industrial and Security sectors
- Strong understanding of pricing for principal contractors and end users
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Book Keeper / Project Support:

The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Bookkeeper / Project Support Administrator to join our team. This is a varied and important role combining financial administration with project and general office support.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Assisting with VAT returns and liaising with external accountants
- Manage CIS returns
Project & Administrative Support:
- Supporting project managers with scheduling and coordination
- Raising and tracking job sheets and purchase orders
- Liaising with engineers, suppliers, and customers
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Maintaining accurate project documentation
- General office administration duties
- Handling incoming calls, post and emails
Requirements
- Proven bookkeeping experience (essential)
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Good communication skills and professional manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within construction, engineering, or a similar industry (desirable but not essential)

Gate Automation Engineer
Perimeter Automation are specialists in gate automation and access control solutions, we are currently one of the UKs fastest growing physical security specialists. We operate on building sites, industrial units, schools as well as Mod & MOJ sites. We’re expanding our team and are looking for an experienced Gate Automation Engineer to join us, working on high-quality installations across the South East.
The Role
As a Gate Automation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining automated gates and access control systems
- Fault-finding and carrying out repairs to automation equipment
- Delivering work to the highest standards of safety and compliance
- Liaising with customers on-site to provide excellent service
- Work predominately based around the South East, with occasional stay away required.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience installing gates, automation systems, and access control
- An ECS card (essential)
- DHF and GateSafe training (preferred, but not essential)
- Strong electrical/mechanical skills
- A full UK driving licence
- A proactive approach with good problem-solving skills
