Salary: Starting at £35,000, dependent on experience

Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (nights and days) weekends by agreement.

About CD Fencing & Construction Services Ltd

We are a well-established, fast-moving, and respected specialist contractor delivering fencing, safety barriers, and infrastructure services across the UK. With a strong reputation and a growing order book, we’re now looking for an experienced Lead Fence Installer to support our projects, primarily across the South West.

About the Role

You’ll lead a small team delivering repairs, renewals, and upgrades to boundary and environmental boundary fence systems, responding to defects, damage, and maintenance needs over a number of sites. Work includes standalone repairs with job-and-knock flexibility, as well as planned upgrades. You’ll play a key role in supporting our clients and delivering safe, high-quality installations. You’ll assist the General Fencing department with programming and planning works in the Southwest, allocating labour and resource, and logistical arrangements. You’ll be implemental in the growth of the business in the South West, expanding the team to meet the growing demands.

What We Expect

  • Fit and able to work days, nights and weekends
  • Based in the region and willing to travel, accommodation provided when staying away
  • Full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points
  • Blue CSCS/FISS card minimum, Gold preferably
  • Fencing installation experience within a construction/civil engineering environment.
  • Confident leading a team and delivering to a high standard
  • Highways experience desirable but not essential
  • Reasonable IT literacy desirable
  • Flexible approach to travel, working days or nights, and occasional weekend work
  • Willing to work away from home, subsistence provided
  • Willing to support works outside of the South West region when required.
