Don’t Miss Out: AFI & AFA Best Practice Day – 16th April

With the AFI & AFA Best Practice Day fast approaching, now is the time to secure your place at this hands-on event taking place at Cannington College, Bridgwater on 16th April.

Running from 9.00am to 3.00pm, the day is designed specifically for fencing contractors looking to sharpen their skills, learn new techniques and gain practical knowledge they can take straight back to site.

A practical day built for contractors

This isn’t just talk — the Best Practice Day focuses on real, hands-on learning, including:

  • Full fencing setups in metal and timber, including deer netting and stock fencing
  • Close-up demonstrations of strainers, strutting and turning techniques
  • The chance to learn and practise key knots with expert guidance
  • Advice on identifying underground services
  • A session on business finance and estimating

Alongside the demonstrations and workshops, attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with leading suppliers and fellow contractors, making it a valuable day for both learning and networking.

Excellent value for a full day out

Tickets are just £15, simply covering catering for the day.

You’ll be welcomed with a bacon roll and hot drink on arrival, with lunch included, making it an easy and worthwhile day out of the yard.

A great opportunity in the South West

Events like this don’t come around often in the region, and this is a chance to get involved locally, pick up new ideas and invest in your skills without significant cost.
