Come and have a look learn & chat!

The Agricultural Fencing Association and its members have organised a demo day for all in the industry to learn tips and tricks on the best methods that should be used in the construction of strained wire fences.

Many of the trainers on site will be competition winners or participants from the major competitions that are run in the UK industry.

The aim of this free event is for people to come and see the techniques that are used to get the best fence that not only conforms to the British Standard 1722-2 but also will last for over the prescribed time set in most grant schemes available in the countryside. Register here

As it is held at Moreton Morell College every guest will have to register for free on here for tractability and anyone not registering by Wednesday 5th October 2022.

Topics that will be covered for experience are:

  • Strut end design and on site erection for both angled and box ends.

  • Footing, breast blocks, swing feet and keeping strainers from lifting or moving in soft ground
