After a successful tenure, later this year the AFI chief executive, Ian Ripley, will be retiring. The AFI Board has decided to redefine the role to combine the chief executive responsibilities with the growth and retention of membership across both contractor and manufacturer members. The position requires someone with an understanding and knowledge of the fencing industry who appreciates the issues which affect members businesses and who can make a powerful case for why others should become members.
Please note this is currently a part time role based on 2 to 3 days per week but with potential to expand dependent on the success in growing membership. Remuneration is based on an hourly/day rate for a consultancy contract and is not an employed position. The role is home based with a requirement to travel to meetings and visit members.
A job description is available on request. Applications should include a CV and a covering letter setting out relevant experience and be sent to info@afiorg.uk to be received by 31 July 2021.
