The Construction Talent Retention Scheme launch has been announced which aims to secure essential talent in the UK construction sector. The scheme will give displaced workers from other sectors a route to find new employment in construction. An online portal will open at the end of July to support the redeployment of staff at risk of redundancy while enabling temporary employee loans between businesses.

The online platform will be free to use to assist organisations looking to hire. Companies can already register their interest here
