Jacksons Fencing, a well-known premium quality timber and steel fencing company and long standing AFI member, is celebrating its 75^th anniversary this year. Founded in 1947, initially selling agricultural fencing to local farmers in Kent, the company has now grown to become an innovative manufacturer specialising in producing and installing premium quality fencing with a 25-year guarantee.

Throughout the decades Jacksons has developed a unique set of processes that has made the company what it is today. In the 60s their unique timber preservation was developed which increased the quality and longevity of their timber product range.

The 70s saw the expansion of the company to branches in Chester and Bath which allowed them to service the North West and the South West.

During the 90s the decision was made to offer a 25-year guarantee which is still the industry’s longest guarantee for timber and steel fencing today.

The Good Fencing Guide, Jacksons’ garden fencing brochure which has been around since the 70s, is still printed, however its modern appearance looks very different to where it started.
