The UK Fencing Awards 2023 is gaining momentum and with so many excellent entries coming in we’ll be taking you through who our sponsors are this year. We’ve got nine excellent companies committing support to the fencing industry and the skilled contractors we have.

Contractor of the Year: Industrial – IAE

IAE has chosen to sponsor a category at the AFI awards in order to give back to the business community we are part of. We want to show that we appreciate the work people perform, respect them for it and recognise their accomplishments.

The AFI Awards gives IAE the opportunity for greater exposure of the IAE brand and to connect with new customers, as well as gain valuable insights and achievements of the nominees along with the positive impact this has had on their business and employees.

This is also an excellent opportunity to create content for our website and social media platforms which will enable us to further engage with our customers and suppliers and enhance our reputation by supporting others and encouraging entrepreneurship.

Founded in 1969, IAE are the UK’s largest and leading manufacturer of Steel Fencing, Shelters, Livestock Housing and Handling Equipment and Equestrian Stabling. The company remains to be owned by the same family who set it up 54 years ago, and now employees over 450 people which we are committed to investing in. IAE is based on a purpose built, 38-acre site which is situated on the edge of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The state-of-the-art production facility features an extensive range of automated processes, ranging from robotic welding technology to automated material handling and includes our own in-house galvanizing facility. Our ability to design, manufacture, assemble and distribute from this unique operation allows us to offer our customers a complete range of high quality, unrivalled products like no other.

Our Industrial division was first established in 1993 and has continued to grow into the successful operation is it today ever since. We offer a comprehensive range of railings, mesh systems, architectural screening, sports mesh and crash protection equipment that has all been designed for a specific purpose. In addition to this, we also design and manufacture a range of cycling and smoking shelters that are proven within the industry.

The IAE awards judge will be Andrew Buxton, Sales & Marketing Director.

Andrew has been selected as the representing judge for IAE because of his personality, character, patience and compassion. Andrew has a reputation for honesty, integrity and fairness in all aspects of his personal and professional career.
